From the very beginning it was clear that EsCargo was a concept that should be implemented right now. To prove this with outright certainty, a prototype had to be built. As with all prototypes it needs to be built quickly, simply and cheaply. It does not need to be “ready for production,” but merely a working example of the concept. Something that can be tested and refined in order to understand what a production model will require.
